First Baptist Porter has an extensive ministry to children centered in the Sunday morning Bible study. Caring and trained teachers lead children in age appropriate lessons filled with Bible stories, activities, and crafts that teach about the love of God.

Awana

Wednesdays 6:20pm - 8:00pm

We welcome any visitor at any time to Awana. Upon your 1st visit, a visitor's packet will go home with your child which includes all the information about our children's ministries. There is also included a registration form if you would like to register your child in our Awana club. Blank forms are also available at the church.

Awana registration fee is $10 per person per year with a family max of $25.

Who is Awana For?

Awana is for children age 3 years by September 1, 2009 thru those in 6th grade. *Preschool events are provided for preschoolers whos parents are involved in on campus events during their preschoolers attendance.

What is Awana?

Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed - Awana is a club designed to reach children with the gospel of Christ, teach children how to have a personal relationship with Christ and train children to hide God's word in their hearts. It includes rotations focused on scripture memory, games, bible teaching, and missions.

How Do I Register My Child?

Registering your child is simple. Upon attending Awana for the 1st time, you will be given an information packet which will include a registration form. Completing the registration form and returning it to an Awana staff member will complete your registration.

Skates & Scooters

Skates and Scooters is for children kindergarten age and younger, as well as their families. This is a time for preschoolers to have fun playing a host of games and activities in our Family Life Center. Skates & Scooters is hosted on 5th Thursday's.
