Equipping Families to Rise Above the World.
The Children’s Ministry at First Baptist Porter seeks to equip all children and their parents in the everyday process of “Defying Gravity.” Gravity is the constant force that holds and pulls us down to earth. Likewise sin acts just like gravity and holds us down and pulls us away from God. Christians should strive daily to defy the pull of our sinful nature and worldly ways and rise above the world. God calls us to pursue Him and that is exactly what the Children’s Ministry of FBC Porter will strive to build and develop in the lives of children and their parents.
“Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is-- his good, pleasing and perfect will.” Romans 12:2

6:20 PM-7:45 PM Registration begins at 6:00PM in the Worship Center Foyer. There is a one-time registration fee of $15 per child (family max of $40). Awana meets every Wednesday during the school year from 6:20 PM to 7:45 PM and is for children age 3 (by Sept. 1) thru 6th grade. AWANA
